Description:
The transfer module is not a set of stairs, although the steps may be used by everybody. The first step is set at seat height on a wheelchair (between 11 and 16 inches), allowing a child to transfer from the chair to the lowest platform, then pull themselves up the 8" steps to access the playsystem. Wheelchair transfers or wheelchair ramps are mandated on public playsystems by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
